Privacy Policy

Tapwake is developed by Packplug Inc. This policy explains what Tapwake processes and why.

Information you provide

• Account details such as your email address and optional display name.
• Alarm settings, proof-station settings, and cloud backup data when you use Tapwake+.
• Backup-partner invitations, connections, wake deadlines, and the status needed to notify your partner.

Camera, microphone, motion, and contacts

The camera and microphone are used during a wake check to confirm that you are at a basin with running water. Analysis happens on your device. Short camera and audio captures are temporarily written to the app cache for analysis and deleted immediately afterward; they are not uploaded to Tapwake's servers. Device motion is processed on-device for Stand and Solve. The contacts picker is used only when you choose a person to invite.

Notifications and subscriptions

Tapwake stores a device push token so alarm and partner alerts can reach you. Apple processes App Store purchases. RevenueCat processes subscription status and sends Tapwake the entitlement needed to unlock cloud features. Tapwake does not receive your payment-card details.

Service providers

Tapwake uses Supabase for accounts, cloud backup, and partner coordination; Expo for push delivery; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement; Apple for authentication, purchases, and device services; Resend for account email; and Sentry for privacy-minimized reliability reports when enabled. These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Local alarm and history data stays on your iPhone until you remove it or the app. Account and cloud data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your Tapwake account from Account Settings; this removes your profile, cloud backup, partner connections, push tokens, and server wake status. Store transaction records remain with Apple and RevenueCat as required for purchase history, fraud prevention, and law.

Sharing and legal requests

Tapwake does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers above, with a backup partner as the feature describes, when you direct us to share it, or when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Children and changes

Tapwake is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes and will update the effective date on this page.
